Winnipeg Police, Fire and Paramedic services responded to an incident late Friday night on College Avenue near McGregor Street.
The Tactical Support Unit along with multiple police patrol units and supervisors were on the scene. Officers were focused on one home.
Three people were seen taken from the scene by ambulance, although in an email to News 4, a WPS public information officer stated only two people had been transported and both were in stable condition. A request for clarification of the discrepancy went unanswered.
One of those transported was extremely distraught and was screaming at police as he was waiting to be loaded in the ambulance. Officers followed the ambulances to from the scene.
Police stated they had no further information to release about the incident. Officers remained on the scene for several hours.
