Winnipeg Police have arrested and charged three men in connection to two armed robberies on Friday night, August 16, 2019.
The first robbery happened at a Henderson Highway pharmacy just before 7:00 pm. Two men walked into the business, one armed with a handgun the other a sawed-off shotgun and demanded money. The pair fled to a waiting vehicle, driven by a third male, with an undisclosed amount of cash say police.
The second robbery followed the same scenario just before 9:00 pm but this time the robbers targeted a hotel vendor on McPhillips Street.
Investigators tracked down the suspects and have charged William Arthur SAMPSON, 49, Charles Brian LAMBERT, 47 and Tariq Devonte BLAIR, 20 for their alleged involvement with a number of robbery and firearms-related offences.
All three suspects were detained in custody.
