Three charged in pair of stabbings on November 12, 2017

Two youths and one adult are behind bars after police arrested them for a pair of stabbing News 4 told you about on November 13, 2017.

Just before 10:00 pm on November 12, 2017, a 16-year-old male was walking in the area of Ellice Avenue and McMicken Street when he was assaulted and stabbed. He was taken to hospital in critical condition.

less than an hour later around 10:45 pm that same night a 19-year-old male was stabbed by the same assailants in the 400 block of Graham Avenue. The victim did not require hospitalization and was treated at the scene and released.

The Winnipeg Police Major Crimes Unit investigated and arrested three suspects.

 

A 16-year-old and a 17-year-old  male  have been charged for their alleged involvement with:

  • Aggravated Assault x 2
  • Robbery
  • Possession of a Weapon
  • Theft Under $5,000
  • Fail to Comply with Sentence Orders

They were both detained in custody.

Johnny Ronnie Stanley Jensson, 21, has been charged for his alleged involvement with the following offences:

  • Robbery
  • Aggravated Assault x 2
  • Possess Weapon
  • Theft Under $5,000
  • Fail to Comply with Court Conditions

Jensson was detained in custody.
