Three assaults in Point Douglas likely related, say police

Winnipeg police are investigating three early morning assaults in Point Douglas on Monday, August 22, 2022, that they believe are related.

Around 4:30 am officers located a man with serious injuries in a parking lot in the 800 block of Main Street. The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Thirty minutes later another man was found in the 600 block of Main Street suffering injuries. He was taken to the hospital in unstable condition.

At 5:30 am police came across an injured man near Logan and the Disraeli. The man told police he had been assaulted. Paramedics took the victim to the hospital in stable condition.

No suspects have been arrested according to police.
