RCMP in Thompson have a 44-year-old man in custody, but no charges have been laid in connection with a stabbing death that took place on Waterloo Avenue in Thompson at around 8 p.m. on July 12, 2022.
The victim of the stabbing was a 60-year-old man. He had been transported from the scene to the hospital, but did not survive his injuries.
The RCMP’s Forensic Identification Services have been called in to help the Thompson RCMP and the Major Crime Services with the investigation.
