RCMP in Thompson have arrested three people and seized a large quantity of illegal drugs
Police say that around 4:30 pm on Friday, February 22, 2019 officers pulled over a vehicle and during the traffic stop located a large number of pills that they believed were Oxycodone.
Investigators secured a search warrant based on the seizure and raided a home on Juniper Drive in Thompson seizing more than 1400 Oxycodone pills along with other drug paraphernalia.
Police have charged a 29-year-old male with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Failing to comply with conditions. Two other people, a 48-year-old female and a 26-year-old male were both arrested and police say charges are pending.
