Third suspect arrested in Craig Street homicide

Winnipeg police homicide investigators have arrested a third suspect in connection to the death of 44-year-old Wendell John Boulanger on January 28, 2021.

Police say that the three accused went to Boulanger’s home where several people were socializing. Soon after they arrived Boulanger and two other people in the home were robbed. During the incident Boulanger was stabbed.

A Canada-wide warrant was issued for 27-year-old Issa Pa Musa. He was arrested a few days after the homicide and charged with Second Degree Murder, two counts of Robbery and two counts of Forcible Confinement.

A second suspect, Lana Delorraine Letandre, 44, was arrested shortly after the homicide and charged for her alleged involvement with three counts of Robbery.

On July 6, officers arrested 19-year-old Diedra Amiela Goodwin for her alleged involvement. She was charged with Manslaughter, two counts of Robbery and two counts of Forcible Confinement.

Investigators say they believe that the three accused did not previously know the victim.
