The hospital said that the outbreak is linked to the B5 medicine unit but they did not indicate how many people had tested positive.

On October 16 the hospital announced their first outbreak in the E6 unit where two patients had tested positive for COVID-19. Five days later on October 21, those numbers had grown to 11 patients and five staff and included a second area within the hospital the E5 medicine unit.

With the third outbreak, the hospital has now suspended new patient admissions to three units E5, E6 and B5. Visitor restrictions are also in place.
