Second time in less than a year suspect arrested for multiple break-ins
Winnipeg Police caught up to and arrested a 38 year old thief who spent the first half of March breaking into 17 businesses across the city.
Between March 1 and March 12, the suspect caused more than $20,000 in damages and stole in excess of $15,000 worth of property.
Just before midnight on March 13, 2017 police arrested Clinton Garry Quesnel in the 200 block of Poplar Avenue after police located the suspect vehicle.
In September Quesnel was charged after allegedly breaking into 21 businesses between mid August and mid September 2016.

Quesnel faces the following charges for his alleged involvement in this current round of break-ins.
- Break, Enter and Theft x 17
- Fail to Comply Recognizance x 8
- Flight While Pursued by Police
- Dangerous Operation of Motor Vehicle
- Break and Enter with Intent x 2
Quesnel was detained in custody.
