RCMP responded to an afternoon fire Friday, November 8, 2019, at a mobile home about 5 kilometres west of Plumas, Manitoba. Plumas is about 178 kilometres northwest of Winnipeg.
Firefighters battled the blaze and once extinguished located the bodies of a 36-year-old male, a 28-year-old female and a 2-year-old female. All three lived in the home say police.
Four other children who also lived in the home were not there at the time of the fire and were safely located at another location.
Autopsies have been scheduled and the cause of the blaze is under investigation by police and the Office of the Fire Commissioner.
