Brandon Police have two suspects in custody after they were allegedly involved in a theft on Tuesday, October 1, 2019.
Police say a male and female were responsible for stealing tools and a vacuum from an 18th Street business.
On Wednesday October 2, 2019, officers pulled over a vehicle in the 900 block of Kirkaldy Avenue. The 36-year-old female driver and 36-year-old male passenger where the suspects in the theft.
The male was also wanted on a warrant for Distribute Intimate Images.
Both suspects were taken into custody.
A search of the male found meth and about $300 in cash. He is facing drug and theft related charges along with the outstanding warrant for the intimate image distribution.
The female was also found to have meth in her possession along with a baseball bat and bolt cutters. Police also noted that the clothes she was wearing still had price tags on them and had been reported stolen from a local business.
She was also under a recognizance order to not possess any drugs or weapons.
She is also facing multiple charges related to theft, weapons, drugs and breaching her recognizance.
