Elections Manitoba confirmed on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, that the 43rd provincial general election has been called for October 3, 2023.
Advance voting will be held from Saturday, September 23 until Saturday September 30.
Voters will receive a voter information card in the mail. The card confirms that the voter is registered and provides information on when and where to vote on election day and during advance voting.
In order to vote in the election you must be a Canadian Citizen who is at least 18 on election day and has lived in Manitoba for at least six months prior to election day.
Voters who have not received their voter cards or received a card with incorrect information can visit the Elections Manitoba website at http://www.electionsmanitoba.ca/en/Voting/Register_of_Voters or contact their local election office prior to September 14, to register or update their information. Manitobans can also register at the poll when they vote.
Voters will require identification in order to vote. One piece of government-issued photo ID or two other pieces listed on the Elections Manitoba website.
