494 new cases of COVID-19 have been identified since Saturday in Manitoba including 183 cases on Saturday, Nov. 6; 155 cases Sunday, Nov. 7; and 156 cases today. Six additional deaths were also reported.
The current provincial COVID-19 test positivity rate is 5.4 per cent.
Of the cases identified in the province today, 70 are people who have not been vaccinated. 10 have been partially vaccinated and 76 are people who are fully vaccinated
There are 1,377 active cases of COVID-19 in the province with 141 people hospitalized. 26 Manitobans are being treated in intensive care units
2,567 lab tests were taken yesterday. That brings the total number of COVID-19 tests completed in the province since February 2020 to 1,113,563
The total number of people who died from the virus in Manitoba is 1,262.
The province remind those who are eligible for a third dose of the COVID-19 vaccine that a minimum of six months must pass between the second and third dose.
COVID-19 outbreaks have been declared at:
- Health Sciences Centre GD4 medical unit in Winnipeg;
- Third Crossing Manor Personal Care Home in Gladstone;
- Neepawa Health Centre in Neepawa; and
- Russell Health Centre in Russell.
