Four teens have been charged after damaging an elevated viewing area in a Garry Street high-rise.
Police say that around 8:45 am on Sunday, February 23, 2020 they were called to the building in the 100 block.
The suspects had allegedly spent some time destroying furniture and breaking windows before deciding to get into an elevator. The vandalism ended when the elevator got stuck.
Police estimate that the group had caused more than $30,000 in damages to the viewing area.
Three 17-year-old males and a 14-year-old female were taken into custody.
They were all charged with Break Enter & Commit Place-Mischief Over $5,000.
One of the male teens was detained in custody the others were released on a promise to appear.
