Two 19-year-old males and a 15-year-old male are facing charges after they allegedly assaulted a male and stole his vehicle.

Police say that around 10:00 pm a 23-year-old male was sitting in his vehicle in the 1300 block of McPhillips Street when the three suspects approached him and sprayed him with an unknown substance. The victim suffered a minor injury but did not require medical attention. The suspects then stole the vehicle and fled. Soon afterwards the vehicle was involved in a collision with a vehicle at Carruthers Avenue and Sinclair Street.

The two 19-year-old suspects were located by officers and placed under arrest. The have both been charged with Robbery and released on Undertakings.

The 15-year-old male has been identified but is still at large.

Police say that the victim and suspects did not know each other.

The investigation is continuing.
