Winnipeg Police are investigating a shooting that happened early Wednesday morning July 4, 2018.
Police say that a 17-year-old male walked into a Winnipeg hospital around 3:40 am this morning suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body.
The Major Crimes Unit is investigating but is asking anyone with information to contact them at 204-986-6219.
“At 3:40 in the morning, if you came across something that was a gunshot or heard a gunshot, that would be very helpful information for investigators,” public information officer Tammy Skrabek said.
The victim is in stable condition.
The investigation continues.
