A 15-year-old male has been charged in connection to the killing of 36-year-old Danielle Dawn Ballantyne on Monday, August 22, 2022, in a Jarvis Avenue Apartment.
Ballantyne was found dead in the Point Douglas area apartment around 7:00 am and police immediately declared the incident a suspicious death.
On the same day police also investigated two serious assaults that took place in the 600 and 800 block of Main Street. Investigators say that all three cases are connected.
The accused male has been charged for his alleged involvement with Second Degree Murder and two counts of Aggravated Assault. He was detained in custody.
A second male youth is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant on the same charges.
