An 18-year-old pedestrian has died after being hit by a vehicle on Notre Dame Avenue on Saturday, January 13, 2024.
The collision happened around 7:00 pm near Cecil Street. The victim was taken to hospital in critical condition and soon died from their injuries.
Investigators determined that the victim had run out in front of the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene, called police and then provided the victim with emergency medical care until paramedics arrived.
Winnipeg Police Service Traffic Division are continuing to investigate.
