RCMP are investigating a single-vehicle rollover that happened early Saturday morning, July 31, 2021, eight kilometres south of Stead, Manitoba.
According to investigators the vehicle being driven by an 18-year-old male from Winnipeg hit the ditch and rolled after the driver lost control of the vehicle near Road 44E and Road 92N.
The driver and a 15-year-old male passenger were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The second passenger, a 17-year-old male from Beausejour, was taken to hospital with serious injuries but he died on August 5.
Police believe speed may have played a factor in the rollover.
RCMP continue to investigate.
