RCMP amd Manitoba First Nations Police Service have completed their investigation into the July 2022, homicide of 36-year-old Mathew Brown from Canupawakpa Dakota Nation.
On Wednesday, November 9, 2022, officers arrested a 15-year-old male from the community. He has been charged for his alleged involvement with Second Degree Murder.
Investigators say the victim and the accused were known to each other.
Police are not looking for any further suspects in the case.
