Winnipeg Police have released more information about the Saturday morning incident in an Assiniboine Park parking lot.

Police say that officers were called to the parking lot just inside the park at Shaftsbury Boulevard and Corydon Avenue around 3:00 am February 26 for a wellbeing check. When officers arrived that found a deceased male in the vehicle.

WPS Major Crimes Unit took over the investigation and determined they were dealing with a homicide.

Investigators have identified the victim as 43-year-old Paul Enns of Winnipeg.

A 15-year-old female from Stonewall was arrested and charged on March 1, 2022, for her alleged involvement with Second Degree Murder and Robbery. She is being held in custody.
