Winnipeg Police Service responed in force early Sunday morning, May 21, 2023, after receiving a call that a male was seen with a gun.
The incident happened around 1:00 am in the 800 block of Cressent Drive.

When police arrived they found the suspect who was in possession of several weapons including a replica CO2 firearm.
The 16-year-old male was taken into custody and charged for his alleged involvement with three counts of Fail to Comply with Sentence Order.
Police say that two other youth were also arrested but not charged in relation to the incident.
No injuries were reported.
