An-18-year-old teen is in custody after attacking a 45-year-old female on Broadway early Saturday Morning, March 30, 2019.

Police say the victim was delivering newspapers when she was approached by the male who was screaming. He tried to get into her car before he violently attacked the victim, punching her multiple times until she fell to the ground. He continued to assault the woman as he searched her pockets for the vehicles keys.

When police arrived on scene they located the injured victim and arrested the male. The victim was taken to hospital in stable condition.

Liam John Freeman is facing charges for his alleged involvement of Robbery and Uttering Threats- Cause Death or Bodily Harm.
