Winnipeg Police say that around 3:40 am on Sunday May 5, 2019 they were called to an apartment in the 1000 block of Taylor Avenue.
When officers arrived they found an adult male who was unresponsive. He was taken to hospital in critical condition but died shortly afterwards.
Winnipeg Police Service Homicide detectives are investigating the case and are asking anyone with information to contact them at 204-986-6508.
Police have not released the name of the victim.
