RCMP in Cranberry Portage are investigating the death of a 42-year-old male after he jumped off a bridge into Kisseynew Lake and did not resurface.
Police say that the incident happened on Sunday, July 26, 2020.
During the afternoon the man was with a family member when he jumped off the Kisseynew bridge. The family member searched the water but was unable to locate the swimmer.
Due to the remote location of the lake, about 30 kilometres north of the community of Sherridon it took several hours for RCMP to be notified about the missing man.
