Suspects push garbage cans into police vehicle before fleeing

Just before 6:00 pm on Monday, November 11, 2019, members of the Guns and Gangs Unit were conducting an investigation in Bridgewater Forest when they noticed a vehicle being operated in a suspicious manner.

Police say that although the incident had nothing to do with their investigation officers followed the vehicle into a nearby parking lot.

The vehicle then made a u-turn and drove directly at officers in the police vehicle. At the last second, the suspect swerved and push two garbage cans into the police car.

The suspect then fled the area.

No one was injured in the incident but police are looking for the suspects and are asking anyone with information that may help them to call 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
