Police warn of suspicious man in Charleswood

Winnipeg Police report on September 27, 2018, that the suspicious male has been identified and the investigation continues.

Winnipeg Police issued a public advisory after an incident in Charleswood on September 10, 2018.

Just before 6:30 pm a woman was walking on the Harte Trail with her dog when a male approached her and after making inappropriate comments attempted to hug her.

A second woman came by on a bicycle shortly after the interaction and told the woman she had seen the man exposing himself.

Police say the man is described as dark-skinned, about 70-years-old, standing about 6’0″, slim build with a long grey tapered beard to his chest. He was wearing an orange coloured turban and a grey sweatsuit.
