It was a drama filled morning at the Kildonan Crossing Plaza as the Winnipeg Police Service Bomb Unit responded to reports of a suspicious item.
It happened just after 8:00 am after police received reports of a pipe that looked like it could be a bomb.
As a precaution the plaza was evacuated while members of the bomb unit investigated.
It turns out that the item was not a bomb or considered dangerous.
