Police say that they are now treating the suspicious death of a 33-year-old male found in an Alexander Avenue home as a homicide.

Greg Joseph Jr Dumas has been identified as the victim. His death is the third homicide in 2020.

Police were called to the Northend home on Tuesday, January 14, 2020, for a report of an unsecured premise. Dumas’s body was found by responding officers inside the residence.

Homicide investigators are trying to piece together Dumas’s movements in the weeks leading up to his death. They are looking to speak to anyone who may have had contact with the victim in the weeks prior to his death.
