Three suspects in their 30s are facing charges in connection to an assault on a 54-year-old man outside an Ellice Avenue hotel on September 18, 2023.
Police say that around 8:40 p.m. the victim was approache by a 33-year-old man and a 34-year-old female who began assaulting his upper body before robbing him of his belongings. The victim was assaulted a second time by a 37-year-old man who exited the hotel armed with a knife causing numerous lacerations.
The victim was taken to hospital in unstable condition.
The three suspects were located at the scene and placed in custody. They are facing robbery and aggravated assault charges.
