Winnipeg Police Service Major Crimes Unit have arrested three suspects in connection to the robbery and assault of a 15-year-old boy in the early morning hours of Monday, November 9, 2020.
Investigators learned that the suspects allegedly set up a meeting with the victim in the 800 block of Concordia Avenue. The victim was assaulted with a machete and robbed. Police say that the victim also had his clothes stolen before being left on the ground suffering from serious injuries. A passerby by spotted the victim and called police.
A 17-year-old male was charged for his alleged involvement with Aggravated Assault, Robbery and Disguise with Intent.
He was detained in custody
A 16-year-old female is facing Aggravated Assault and Robbery charges for her alleged involvement.
A 15-year-old male has been charged with Robbery for his alleged involvement.
The pair were released on an undertaking.
