Two suspects are behind bars after police caught them inside a stolen truck with items from several different properties that had been stolen.
Police say that the pair were allegedly responsible for a break and enter at a 18th Street North business. Video captured the suspects entering several different buildings in the area.
Patrol officers, as well as members from the K-9 unit, conducted a search of the area with the dog following a track to an area near Outback Drive.
Police stopped a truck leaving the area. Images from the video of the earlier break-in confirmed the driver’s and passenger’s identities.
Both suspects tried giving investigators false names but ID found within the vehicles confirmed the were the suspects.
The 31-year-old male passenger was also wanted in connection to another robbery earlier in the day. He has been charged for his alleged involvement with Break and Enter X2, Possession of Break-in Instruments, Theft of Motor Vehicle, Theft Under $5000, Public Mischief, Fail to comply with Condition of Recognizance X 3
A female driver was also arrested and charged for her alleged involvement with Break and Enter X 2, Possession of Break-in Instruments, Theft of Motor Vehicle, and Public Mischief.
Police say the stolen truck the pair were found in had recently been stolen from the 1800 block of 18th street.
