Winnipeg Police arrest suspect after appealing to the public for help.
In April two suspects were driving in the area of Logan Avenue an McPhillips Street when the driver stopped the vehicle and pointed a firearm at three youth who were walking by.
Police requested help in identifying the suspects on June 25, 2021 and as the investigation continued officers were able to identify a suspect related to the incident with help from the public.
On August 5, 2021 officers went to Headingley Correctional Centre and arrested 27-year-old Bronson Emery Kequahtooway who was in custody for unrelated matters. Kequahtooway was charged for his alleged involvement with 12 firearm-related offences. He remains in custody.
