Suspect wanted in Wolseley area break-in and sexual assault

Police are looking for a man in connection with a break, enter and sexual assault investigation in the Wolseley neighbourhood. 

At about 2:30 in the morning on July 31, 2022, a man entered a house in the area.  One of the two female residents attempted to hide, but he pushed the door to the room she was in open, committed an indecent act and then tried to force himself on her.  She was able to fend him off and he took off before police arrived.  Officers searched the area but didn’t find him. 

The offender is described as white, roughly 5’ 10” to 6’ tall with a small build, wide stance or gait, and dirty blonde – reddish hair that was short on the sides but longer on top. He was wearing a dark t-shirt and dark cargo-style pants, with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth during the incident.  
This investigation by the Sex Crimes Unit is continuing.  Anyone with information that might help is asked to call the Sex Crimes Unit at 204-986-6245 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
