A female teen is shaken but physically injured after an abduction/sexual assault incident in the Daniel McIntyre neighbourhood on Wednesday morning, January 25, 2023.
According to police, the teen was walking to school around 9:00 am when an unknown man confronted her near McGee Street and Wellington Avenue. The man made a comment then grabbed the victim by both arms and tried to kiss her. The teen broke free and ran to the school.
The suspect is described as an adult male with dark hair, sideburns, a jacket and camouflage pants, carrying a lighter-coloured backpack.
