Winnipeg Police have arrested a 29 year old male who was wanted on outstanding warrants for armed robbery.
It happened around 6:45 pm September 29, 2017 in the area of Mountain Avenue and Akins Street
General patrol officers noticed the suspect on a bicycle and pushing a second bike who was wanted on outstanding arrest warrants.

As officers approached the male he took off throwing his bicycle at the officers. He was arrested without injury.
Police searched the backpack the man was carrying and found a sawed-off shotgun, ammunition, drugs and bolt cutters.
James Kelly Poole, 29, was arrested and charged for his alleged involvement with a number of weapon, break-in, drug and assault charges.
Poole was detained in custody.
