RCMP are looking for a suspect vehicle and driver after it rammed a police cruiser in an attempt to evade officers on April 13, 2022.
Police say that around 3:35 pm a male was seen allegedly attempting to steal a catalytic converter from a vehicle parked on Highway 59 at Highway 52.
The suspect returned to his vehicle and fled the scene with the person who reported the incident following. As responding officers were trying to locate the vehicle they spotted it travelling westbound on Road 24N. As an officer attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle the suspect rammed the police unit before fleeing the area.
RCMP are looking for the male driver described as Caucasian, about 5’9″ in height. He id bald with stubble beard and large nose. He is believed to be in his 40s.
The vehicle is described as a silver Honda CRV with a black front passenger door.
