Winnipeg Police homicide detectives have arrested 24-year-old Abdullahi Jemal Ahmed in connection to the killing of 21-year-old Hayder Hassan on April 16, 2021.
Hassan was shot and killed while at a cemetery on McGillivray Boulevard
Police say that Ahmed was in custody in Milner Ridge Correctional Centre on June 22, 2021, when officers arrested him on the strength of a warrant.
Ahmed has been charged for his alleged involvement with Second Degree Murder and two counts of Fail to Comply Probation Order.
He remain in custody.
