Winnipeg police have arrested 30-year-old Laura Fay Buboire in connection to the murder of 45-year-old Deena Markwick on August 16, 2021.
On Monday, investigators asked the public for help in locating Buboire and at about 10:00 pm she was found at a home in the Norwood East area of the city.
Buboire is facing charges for her alleged involvement of Second Degree Murder, Armed Robbery using a Firearm, Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order and Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized.
She was detained in custody.
