Suspect in multiple break-ins arrested and charged

A Winnipeg man is facing break and enter charges after he was linked to multiple break-ins at automotive businesses across Winnipeg between July and September 2023.

Police say the man hit nine business in the following locations:

  • 600 block of Talbot Avenue – damage is valued at $400
  • 2100 block of St Mary’s Road – an undetermined amount of property was stolen and damage caused
  • 600 block of Talbot Avenue – property stolen and damage caused is valued at $600
  • 600 block of Talbot Avenue – an undetermined amount of property stolen and damage caused
  • 700 block of Pembina Highway – damage caused is valued at $1500
  • 1100 block of Chevrier Boulevard – an undetermined amount of property stolen and damage caused
  • 1100 block of Manahan Avenue – damage caused is valued at $500
  • 500 block of Berry Street – an undetermined amount of property damage caused
  • 1100 block of Chevrier Boulevard – damage caused is valued at $300

On September 25, 2023, officers a tenth business was broken into and a number of vehicles were rummaged through. Responding officers arrested a 28-year-old male.

Sheldon James St Paul of Winnipeg has been charged for his alleged involvement with ten counts of Break Enter. He was detained in custody.
