Just after 9:00 pm Sunday, May 24, 2020 police say they responded to Main Street for the report of a man who exposed himself and then committed another indecent act in front of a 23-year-old female.

When officers arrived they found the suspect who was armed a metal pipe and chased him on foot until he was taken into custody in the 500 block of Main Street.

During the foot chase officers fired a taser at the male that had no effect.

The 30-year-old male has been charged for his alleged involvement with Indecent Act, Resist Peace Officer and Possession of a Weapon.

Police say that they have not released the suspects name in case there were other offences in the area around the same time.

Police are asking anyone who may have been victimized to call them at 204-986-6222 and report the incident.

The suspect is described as having a dark-coloured beard and medium build.
