Winnipeg Police Service has charged a 19-year-old female in connection to the stabbing death of a 12-year-old boy on Friday, June 18, 2021.
The family has identified the victim as Sanchez Boulanger.
Police were called to the 200 block of Burrows Avenue around 7:19 pm and found a seriously injured male on the roadway. An off-duty nurse who happened to be in the area helped officers administer first aid until paramedics arrived.
Police said that two groups of people got into a fight during which time the youth was stabbed.
