RCMP stop suspect on Hwy 10 near U.S. border
As News 4 told you on yesterday a 20 year old woman was taken to hospital in critical condition after being assaulted in the 900 block of Dominion Street.
It happened around 2:30 am May 23, 2017. According to police a passerby tried to help the woman but was chased off by the suspect who was armed with a knife.
RCMP arrested the suspect on highway 10 near the American border.
Junior Sesay, 21 has been charged with the following offences for his alleged involvement:
- Attempt Murder
- Robbery
- Break & Enter (Dwelling House)
Sesay was detained in custody.
