WPS Homicide detectives have arrested and charged a 37-year-old male in connection to the murder of 31-year-old Aaron Ashton McKay on Sunday, June 26, 2022.

McKay had been shot at a home in the 500 block of Alexander Avenue around 10:30 am according to police.
Just after noon on Tuesday, June 28, officers arrested and charged Leslie John Maracle for his alleged involvement with Second Degree Murder and two counts of Possession of a Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon Contrary to Order.
Maracle was detained in custody.
