Suspect arrested in July road rage killing

Winnipeg Police have arrested and charged 19-year-old Rah Ahmadzai in connection to a road rage incident that claimed the life of 43-year-old Ryan Kelly Legary in July 2020.

The pair had been involved in a road rage incident near Lagimodiere Boulevard and Fermor Avenue that escalated when they pulled into a nearby Tim Hortons parking lot. The verbal argument became deadly when Ahmadzai allegedly stabbed Legary.

Lagary was taken to hospital in critical condition but soon died from his injuries.

Ahmadzai was charged for his alleged involvement with Manslaughter and detained in custody.
