No charges laid …yet!
On Wednesday, July 26, 2017, RCMP arrested a suspect in the death of an 18-year-old male in Gimli on Tuesday afternoon, July 25, 2017.
Police have yet to lay any charges and will not release the name of the suspect at this time.
RCMP also have not released the name of the victim but News 4 sources have identified him as Evan EngBaek.
Engbaek was killed in broad daylight on 2nd Avenue just north of Centre Street in Gimli on Tuesday. When police first released information they called the incident a “suspicious death”.
