Moose had been dropped off at the Wal-Mart on Mystery Lake Road on October 1, 2019. Sixteen days later her body was found near Nelson Road in the community.

Investigators spent nearly two year investigating Moose’s homicide spending more that 25,000 hours sifting through surveillance video, conducting more than 400 interviews and speaking with in excess of 1,600 people in the search for answers.

On July 28 investigators went to Thompson and placed Jack Clarence Flett in custody. Flett has been charged for his alleged involvement with First Degree Murder. He remains in custody.

Police say that both Flett and Moose knew each other.
