31-year-old Joy Nancy Moore has been arrested in connection to the death of 65-year-old Richard Wheeler.
Wheeler was found seriously injured at a residence in the 300 block of Hargrave Street on January 25, 2023.
Paramedics took the victim to the hospital where he soon died from his injuries.
Police arrested the accused on January 28 and charged her for her alleged involvement with Second Degree Murder. She was also charged with Assault Peace Officer after allegedly assaulting one of the homicide investigators. Moore was also wanted on a warrant for being Unlawfully at Large.
She was detained in custody.
