A 31-year-old female has been arrested and charged in connection to the May 10, 2021, murder of 27-year-old Jasmine Normand. Normand was found dead in an apartment in the 600 block of Maryland Street.
Police continued to investigate over the past year and were able located and arrest the suspect on May 24, 2022.
Sabrina Mary Louise Favel of Winnipeg was taken into custody from a home in the Daniel McIntyre area. Police believe Normand and Favel were known to each other and had become involved in an altercation at Normand’s residence resulting in her death.
Favel was charged for her alleged involvement with Manslaughter.
She was detained in custody.
