A 20-year-old male is in custody after he allegedly spent Tuesday, March 14, 2023, committing multiple crimes across Winnipeg.

According to police, the incidents began when the suspect stole a vehicle from a parking garage on Donald Street. Apparently, the vehicle owner had left a set of keys inside the unlocked vehicle and the suspect took advantage of that.

Around 7:50 am the suspect drove to a supermarket in the 1600 block of Kenaston Boulevard and stole items. He was confronted by staff but swung the stolen items at the employees before fleeing the store.

Around 5:40 pm the suspect went to another grocery store, this time on Pembina Highway, and stole merchandise. When he was confronted by staff he once again swung the items at the employees before fleeing.

At approximately 7:15 pm the suspect drove to a Pembina Highway gas station, had an employee fill the tank then went inside as if he was going to pay. When the tank was full the suspect walked back to the vehicle and fled.

Around 10:10 pm the suspect went to another grocery store, this time on Marion Street and stole several items. When he was confronted by an employee the suspect punched them in the face and fled in the stolen vehicle.

At approximately 1:40 am on March 15, 2023, RCMP spotted the stolen vehicle speeding and attempted to stop it. The driver continued to speed and drive erratically. The vehicle was eventually stopped and the driver was arrested and ticketed for driving-related offences. He was later turned over to Winnipeg police.

Kyson Allen Cameron Little has been charged for his alleged involvement with three counts of Robbery, two counts of Disguise with Intent, Theft Under $5000, Theft of Motor Vehicle, two counts of Speeding (RCMP, Highway Traffic Act), Drive without a licence (RCMP, Highway Traffic Act), Careless driving (RCMP, Highway Traffic Act) and Failing to stop for police (RCMP, Highway Traffic Act)
